There has recently been media attention regarding weight loss injections, especially Mounjaro (tirzepatide). We are receiving requests from large numbers of patients for this medication.

These injections are currently not available in Cheshire and Merseyside from GPs on an NHS prescription. We are awaiting our local Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB) to establish community weight management clinics.

In addition, the surgery will not be issuing any private prescriptions for weight loss injections.

If you would like support with weight loss, we have health coaches who work as part of our team. If you would like an appointment then please contact the surgery, or you can self-refer using the form on our PCN website.
The Living Well service is built on the principles of listening to communities and meeting their needs by bringing the right services to them. The service, delivered by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, operates on a fully drop-in basis. It offers all routine NHS immunisations, health checks and mental health support. Patients can now self-refer to see one of our health coaches for help with their weight, cholesterol, and/or diabetes. For more information, click here to visit the health coach service page on our PCN website.
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

We are happy to announce the launch of our new website. We hope patients find it easier to use.
